Happy Turkey Day! (aka Thanksgiving Day)

Posted by R.Rabbit on November 16th, 2008

thanksgiving

Hello my fellow pumpkin pie eaters!

Did you know that the biggest pumpkin pie ever baked was 12 feet long and weighed 2,020 pounds? Did you also know that U.S. consumed 690 million pounds of turkey during Thanksgiving day last year? Wow! Now, that’s a lot of pumpkin pie and turkey! Enough about these fun facts. How about a little history from your furry friend…

Many people say that the first thanksgiving dinner was in 1621 where the Plymouth colonists and Wampanoag Indians shared an autumn harvest feast at Plymouth Colony, which is now Massachusetts. However, this was actually a tradition already celebrated by Native Americans long before that. It was held to celebrate the harvest and to give thanks for a successful bounty of crops. This explains all the yummy traditional Thanksgiving food like turkey, pumpkin pie, and cranberries (just to name a few).

More than 200 years later, President Abraham Lincoln declared the final Thursday in November as a national day of thanksgiving. Then in 1941, Congress finally made Thanksgiving Day an official national holiday.

Now you know what Thanksgiving day is all about. As for me, it means togetherness and giving thanks. So this year, I would like to thank all my friends at Seal Online: Evolution. To all the Craftsmen, Mages, Warriors, Knights, and Priests at Shiltz land, thank you for making Seal Online: Evolution the best MMORPG ever!

Enjoy your turkeys and have a happy Thanksgiving day!

What Makes Seal Online the best MMORPG Ever?!

Posted by R.Rabbit on August 27th, 2008

I’m so proud to be part of Seal Online.  Actually, I’m the star but we don’t need to be picky with the details…hehe…

I wanted to share with you my favorite things about Seal Online and what makes it the best MMORPG ever!!!  And hopefully you will share with me your likes about it too.

1- So Many Characters, So Many Skills!

With the 13 new classes added to the already awesome original 7, Seal Online just got even awesomer! (yes I know that’s not a word, but I made it up).

2- I Love Being Loved!

I love that I can couple with someone in game to share my Shiltz land adventures with.  My couple and I can send love notes to each other, buy matching outfits, summon each other so we can always be in the same place, and best part of all, the longer we stay together, the more roses we get.

3- My Pet As My Sidekick!

I can choose from several types of pets that I can raise from a tiny seedling to help me in my exciting battles.  The best part is that I can help it evolve as I feed and take care of it daily.

Well, here are the top 3 things that makes Seal Online: Evolution the best MMORPG for me.  How about you?  What are the top 3 things you like about it?

Hoppity Ho Shiltz Peeps! June is here, the birds are chirping, the sun is shining, rabbits are hippity hopping, and the days are just beautiful!

When I’m not outside enjoying the gorgeous day, I like to bake yummy treats for me and my friends.  That reminds me… CONGRATULATIONS to the winners of last month’s Seal Online Bake-Off.  Those Moo Moo and Piya cookies looked extra yummy.   Cookies are one of the things I love to bake… and eat!  Just like the Cookie of Happiness quest, you need the right ingredients for your masterpeice to turn out delicious!  So I thought I’d share with you a scrumptoulicious summer snack:

Rascal Rabbit’s Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe:

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon ground white pepper
  • 3 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Happy Valentine’s Day!

Posted by R.Rabbit on February 14th, 2008

Happy Valentine’s Day, everybody!  Make sure to grab your special girl or guy (either in the game or outside of it) and give them a big Seal kiss today.  I love this holiday.  Treats, kisses, treats, kisses… who wouldn’t like that?!  I hope you and your in-game partner are celebrating in Seal Online.

Do you all know how Valentine’s Day came to be?  Well if not, here’s a little trivia for you.  In the year 319 A.D., a guy named Valentino decided that he wanted to do something special for his wife, Cupido.  He knew she liked chocolate (back then they just chewed on cocoa beans for the flavor), so he built her a house made out of chocolate.  It had everything she could want — chocolate furniture, chocolate decorations… even the toilet was made out of chocolate!  He presented it to her on February 14th.  She loved it, and told everyone in town about it.  Pretty soon, townspeople were coming from miles away to see this sugary shack.  And boy did Cupido love her house.  I mean LOVE.  She ate from it every day.  And as she ate, she became larger and larger.  She became so large, that she finally couldn’t get out of the darn door.  So she started to eat her way out.  She ate the doorway, and the walls, and as she ate more, she got even larger.  The more she ate the larger she got, and the larger she got, the more she ate.  It was a never-ending cycle!  Finally, Valentino had to do something, before she exploded.  So he fetched his trusty bow and arrow from the garage.  He tearfully told her that this was going to hurt her a lot more than it was going to hurt him, but that he was doing it out of true love.  He didn’t want to see her explode!  So Valentino aimed his bow, drew back the string, and fired a love-filled arrow straight into her backside.  And do you know what happened?  500 pounds of chocolate flew straight out of the hole he pierced.  She flew around the house like a balloon shooting air out of itself.  When Cupido finally landed, she looked into Valentino’s big loving eyes and said, “Honey, you saved me from my horrible fate!  That was one arrow filled with love.”  And they lived happily ever after, the end.

And that, my furless friends, is the real story of Valentine’s Day.  See ya next time!

- R.R.

P.S. OK, so maybe that’s not the real story of Valentine’s Day, but it was fun to write!
