Congratulations to you, Nayatrei, and thanks for giving us some time with you! Please tell us a little about yourself.
I’m a college student down in California at the moment, which was probably why I had a lot of flexibility in my schedule to play seal. Seal was actually my second MMORPG that i have really spent time on, and it all started when my friends from my first MMO asked me to join them on SO at beta, so yeah, I’m not a newbie that popped out one day and got to lv250 in a few months. I wanted to accomplish something that no one has before, be lv250. It’s kind of like how I would usually tend to play RPGs until I have completely beaten the game, because that is when it seems like you’ve finally seen everything about the game and what the creators made.
Why did you decide to choose a Jester out of all the other wonderful classes?
What started was this one video that I saw from someone’s blog. This person was a jester in Japanese Seal, and she was able to take down ohm in under 20sec. I had a lv210+ mage at that time and I wasn’t half bad taking down ohm, but less than 20sec just was out of my league. I kept replaying that video, and decided that I wanted to do that too.
How long did it take to become level 250 and how many hours per day did you play?
2months: 1month to get to lv210, and 1month to get to lv250. I’d have to say I’ve played the most during the beginning and the end, but the end was just pure labor. There was a day when I played for about 24hrs straight, then pulled another 16hrs the next day. On average I’d say 8hrs though, because I like sleeping.
What motivated you to stay strong until you hit level 250?
Lv250 was something that no one has done before, but I also knew how much time and effort that would take for me. The sense of accomplishment was one thing, but I would have to say that having good friends, in my case my guild members, was my key to stay strong.
What type of obstacles did you face trying to reach level 250?
I’d have to say “accuracy”. There wasn’t always someone to priest me when I hunted, which was one of the hardest obstacles: I can’t hit anything by myself! So I actually made myself into a solo build to be able to hunt when I wanted, where I wanted.
Did you friends think you were crazy when you told them you wanted to try and become level 250?
Nope, they knew I was one crazy Seal Online player, and they were actually enthusiastic about it. Others though thought it was a crazy idea, but I’ve seen people that are at lv230s already so I thought it was possible.
During your adventures and making your journey to level 250, What was your favorite zone and why?
I’d have to say my favorite place is Sevis. Back then in beta it was such a hard place to get to! But the moment that I’ve stepped into that place, the music, the scenery, and everything made it seem like it was worth the long walk.
Since you are level 250 now, what do you do inside the world of Shiltz?
Take over the….nah I’m just kidding. These days I’m helping out my guild by Priesting. Guess making a lv210 priest and raising a fly pet would be my next goal. The thought of another lv250 crossed my mind but it disappeared in a fraction of a second, way too much labor to repeat.
We would like to congratulate you again on your great accomplishment in being the first player in Seal Online to reach level 250. Is there anyone or anything you would like to thank or say in closing?
I’d like to thank my guild mate Chibikuro for always helping me out and my guild master Ultimaweapon for encouraging and supporting me. Of course, a lot more thanks to others who had been there to help me out from beta. I hope you all find your goals in Seal Online that you’d be able to share with others!
